I’m an avid reader of murder mysteries and police procedurals and enthusiastically recommend this book. The story is compelling and fast-paced, and the author does a wonderful job of developing and connecting events and characters. I actually felt a little sad at the end because I will miss the detectives. Without giving anything away, I must also say I loved the unexpected surprise on the last page

Brandon D Conner tells a fantastic story. His characters were a perfect fit for the story. His main character easy to fall for and the villain easy to loathe.
